How to register for IELTS? / Test Centers

 

Registering for the IELTS test is simple. Follow the steps below to bring you closer to your goals.

1. Find out from the institution you have applied to which module of IELTS you need to take.

2. Fill out an application form (application form can be downloaded from http://www.britishcouncil.org/nepal) available from the centre in Kathmandu or the Little Step Higher Secondary Boarding School, Simalchaur, Pokhara and Small Heaven School , aanptari, Naryangarh, Chitwan. Write your date of birth according to the English calendar.

3. You can register at the Examination Services desk from 08:30 to 17:45 from Monday to Friday.

You will need to bring

  • the fees in cash - Rs 12,000
  • proof of identity, e.g. your passport or national ID card and two photocopies - driving licenses are not accepted
  • two passport pictures of yourself (without cap or hat). The passport photos must be less than 2 weeks old and size should be of 45 x 45 mm.
Once you have registered, you will be given a test date.
